Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love the weather change and the feel of the Holidays approaching. One of our favorite traditions is to visit Pa's Pumpkin Patch every year. We always try to go when it is not so crowded during the day. Since I was still on maternity leave we met one of my best friends Lacey and her little pumpkins and made a day of it. Tyler loves running around with little Jaxon... they were so cute!

I love that Tyler is still such a little ham when it comes to pictures!

Alyssa's Pink & Grey Nursery

When Tyler was born we still lived in Buds beautiful 1 bedroom condo by the Marina. I didn't get to have fun decorating a Nursery for him. So I went a little overboard with Alyssa's. Not only did I get to decorate a nursery but a GIRL nursery! At a certain point Bud told me to calm down with all the pink and ruffles, but I just couldn't help myself. Here are a few pictures of the Nursery before she was born. We've added some things here and there. I'm a bad mommy and don't put her to sleep in her crib... she likes to cuddle with me. But it still looks pretty in her room!

 

We got her bedding from the "Baby Guy: at the OC Swap Meet. I picked out the fabric myself and designed it. The owner said so many of his customers wanted to buy it when he had it out waiting for us to pick up. I should go into baby bedding design! LOL

I searched Etsy for the perfect quote for her room and was so happy when I found this one!

Love the soft colors. It makes it feel so calm and relaxing in her room.

A Pink Paradise!

Also loved these set of frames we picked up from BabiesRUs. I was determined to have a comfy gluider when I got pregnant too and this is the perfect one. It reclines. You can practically sleep in it!

Alyssa 2 Weeks Old

We could not have asked for a better baby girl! The moment she was born she has been so mellow and calm. We have to be the luckiest parents alive to have a newborn that sleeps the entire night! That was the biggest thing I was worried about before she was born. Tyler was such a fussy newborn. We would literally take him on car rides in the middle of the night to get him to sleep. But I honestly think we just didn't feed that poor boy enough, he was probably starving! Alyssa has a booby milk buffet right before bed and she sleeps nice and sound for 8+ hours. I have to actually wake her up on some mornings. I think she is a lot like her mommy and loves to sleep in! :) She also has the sweetest little personality already. Tyler just loves his sister. Our family is truly complete.

Alyssa's Hospital Pictures

I remember when Tyler was born and the hospital photographer came around to take his picture. They set him on what looked like a projection monitor they use in classrooms and took his picture. It was cute but I swear it looks like a baby mug shot! When Alyssa was born it was a whole nother story! They propped her and tried to create a little photo studio in my hospital room. They aren't the best pictures but I still love them because they are of her! She is so sweet and such a chubbers!

She's so chubby she can't even open her eyes! She looks like a little asian baby with perfect heart shapped lips! :)
